Ringside notes – July 23 2010

Here’s another edition of Ringside Notes with a few miscellaneous updates about Thoughtwrestling and related stuff:

The blog continues to grow nicely in terms of visitors and subscribers.  This is wonderful for a young blog (just under four months old)!

Would you like to submit a guest post to Thoughtwrestling?  Please contact me at thoughtwrestler@gmail.com if you’re interested – we’re always looking for great material!  We’ve had some really great guest posts here and we’ve got a few more in the pipeline.  Please read through the blog to get a feel for our material before submitting, thanks!

The mailing list continues to grow nicely as well.  The email newsletter (now called the Idea-Infused Supplement) is coming out on a weekly basis.  It features:

  • content that you don’t see on the blog
  • links to relevant free resources
  • the occasional contest (watch for a new one coming in August!)
  • other stuff that’s interesting to our readers

Think of the mailing list as a way to hear about things before they happen here on the blog.

You should seriously  consider signing up for the mailing list (click the link to the left to go to the Subscribe page) because I’m going to be announcing some important things there first during the next few months.  Before I announce them here on the blog.  Some potentially money-saving things.  Hint.

#twchat, our weekly Twitter chat about topics related to thoughtwrestling, is going well.  We’re developing a regular crew of folks who share ideas about things related to creativity, creative thinking, problem solving and getting things done.  Please join us on Wednesdays at 9 PM Eastern (same time zone as New York, Montreal, Toronto, Atlanta and other fine locations in the eastern part of North America) for a one hour long engaging and fun conversation.  Don’t forget the hashtag:  #twchat.  Thoughtwrestler IanMRountree is my partner-in-crime for these great chats (he’s also an active participant in the weekly #blogchat, too!)

In closing, I’d like to thank the usual suspects for their hard work, enthusiasm and generally being swell people.  Thanks also to our guest posters for doing great work.

But most of all, thank you for reading.  None of this is possible without you.

:)
