How to be creative – a video experience

The following video is based on Hugh MacLeod’s original How To Be Creative essay, which became the basis for his great book Ignore Everybody.  It’s a fun short video and it’s here for your viewing pleasure:

    Awesome video.

I’m most creative when I ignore everybody, and sit at my office listening to music or just wearing big headphones (so people will think I’m listening to music).

I’m also creative when I’m on my own in nature, looking at a perfect view or by the ocean. But I need to be on my own, and not be disturbed while thinking. On the other hand, sometimes creative thoughts just appear out of nowhere while I’m together with other people :)

    When are you most creative?

    Thanks for sharing the video.

Often, I’m at my most creative when I’m working at the kitchen table in an empty house.
